Sick Puppy

Okay he's not a puppy, he's 10 years old.........but he's our baby.

He's a sick puppy.......really sick.

We took him to the ER vet this weekend and they think he got an overload on his Cushing's medicine. This puts him into what they call an Addisonian crisis (that's not good)

He was having pain attacks in his hind quarters along with weakness and is not able to stand too steady these days. He is eating well but is vomiting everything back up so is weak from lack of nutrition.

We've had to give him his emergency Prednisone medicine to counteract the effects, but he is still not looking much better.

He has bouts of being his old self.......wagging the tail, playing with Squeaker........but then he returns to this listless state where he just looks miserable.

Please send prayers his way. Its a holiday weekend so I can't get him into the vet until at least tomorrow. This is my youngest son's dog and he is so distraught over his condition he won't hardly leave his side. I hate to even imagine if he doesn't pull through this as Pugsley is such a big part of our lives and we love him dearly.
