Here's the story of a dashing Pugsley.........who was living with 3 other dogs

All of them had hair shedding everywhere.......but they were all flea-free

Here's the story of a nasty flea bum....who was busy laying eggs of his own.

They were born and reproducing.....but they needed a home.

Til the one day when the flea met the Pugsley...and they knew that it was love at first sight.

That this group would somehow cohabitate and that's the way we all became the Flea-Infested Hounds.................

I digress..............so I go to the vet because The Hindendog is itching so bad he's crying and running wildly throughout the house trying to run away from the flea/itch on his back.

No problem.........a little trip the vet and we're done! But OH NO.........it can't be that easy.

#1- Must treat ALL animals with flea medicine...............cost $50 for one month supply


#2- His teeth don't look so good.............cost $35 for antibiotics and a cost estimate coming for the cost of removing several teeth


#3- He's obese.................cost decreases since I'm now supposed to feed him 1/3 of a cup twice a day but increases due to special food...............cost......a wash.........but I consider the cost of a pissed off dog due to 1/3 cup of food to equate to about $20 a month


#4-He has symptoms of Cushing disease...........cost $130 for blood work-up


#5- Confirmation that he has elevated levels of some darn thing of 10x normal (this equals Cushing disease by the way).........additional test needed.............cost $150 plus the cost of maintenance medication $15-25 per month

Cost of treating youngest son's pet dog so he can be around a few more years....................priceless
